Silva vs GSP Coming Soon

After another blow epic, Anderson Silva is left alone atop the middleweight division, especially with Chael Sonnen out of the mix yet. The champion of the sudden stop and the overwhelming majority Vitor Belfort was an end very well, but so sudden that raises the question of who the next challenger is feasible? Certainly, someone with a high level of control is in order, as Silva continues to be simply deadly on his feet.

At the press conference of the UFC Dana White 126 postfight addressed the long duration of a super-fight between Silva and welterweight king Georges St. Pierre. The UFC president said the attack may occur in Saint-Pierre defeats challenger Jake Shields to UFC 129 on April 30.

If Peter does not win, especially in the way the Secretariat, it is stated in the afternoon, a game with Silva seems obvious. They both cleaned their respective divisions for most, especially St. Peter, whose stability challengers consists of guys, he had mastered. San Pedro-Silva is just barely top welterweight Shields, Jon Fitch, Thiago Alves, or BJ Penn (he must defeat Fitch at the end of this month), but the decisions public perception matching shapes.

The thing is: St. Peter will not increase for the midrange, especially when it must come from a biological standpoint. He walks with a solid 190-195 pounds and cutter 170 as a clock, maintaining their natural size and strength advantage. Combined with its superior athleticism, makes him almost perfect welterweight.

Silva true middleweight ride north of £ 210. To add the appropriate weight, St. Pierre would really push the limits of their body, and it is the opinion of this writer that the transition would be doubtful if it is done within the time required for Silva-GSP - most likely the end 2011 - in opposition to fill, of course, long. This could take 3-4 years and still have problems, like GSP is simply not natural 185 pounds.

As shown boxer Michael Spinks in 1985 when he moved from 170 to 220 pounds to fight Larry Holmes and then be crushed in 91 seconds by Mike Tyson, no matter how many repetitions is a guy in the room sport when he was struck by a great man who was naturally bigger to begin with.

Greatness comes to those who dare to be great, and certainly the fight and GSP Silva explosion to give some problems. But part of me recoils at the idea of him risking terrible blows just to satisfy the fans who have been drilled with a dominant title run. Saint-Pierre is on the shortlist of the most marketable fighters in the game, and he owes nothing to the middleweight division.

GSP for the loan, he will probably accept the challenge. However, it adds weight by simply increasing until he lost to Silva and said he will be much more difficult to return to 170. San Pedro-Silva fight is a huge and highly marketable, but that St. Peter should be very well paid, because, in "The Spider" would go beyond the call of duty.
