The UFC 117 probabilities roster is not 1 of the many exceptional UFC Main Event competitions cards that we have watched to date in 2010.
In fact, with leading matches like the Rampage Jackson against Evans, Lesnar against Carwin and Rua against Shogun headlining UFC wagering competitions, this year has been the most interesting UFC wagering year in recent memory.
But to date in 2010, the UFC 117 wagering competition scarcely compares to the fantastic fights. Without question this is the worst lineup of competitions that we've seen in the UFC wagering competition in many months but there should still be lots of fantastic chances to play the UFC 117 probabilities competition.
Not only will the payout on any bet on Silva, the reigning middleweight champ of the world and unbeaten since 2006, will be minimal, but the Main Event will likely be very anti-climactic. There have been rumors of Silva leaving UFC for years now and some of that talk stemmed from contract negotiations and undoubtedly were little more than bargaining chips. But something about the impending UFC 117 probabilities competition seems different. Silva is now at an age where he's without doubt starting to think about other career choices outside of MMA and since he's at the peak of his UFC fame it would make sense to try and cash in on that before he fades into the spotlight as a punch drunk has-been.
Everybody knows Silva will destroy Sonnen in some long and drawn out decision that will leave everyone bored to tears and little uncertainty that Silva is the greatest competitor alive in the MMA gambling event.
One matchup featured on the Main Card that likely should not be, but is, is the lightweight UFC 117 gambling matchup between Rafael dos Anjos and Clay Guida. Neither 1 of these competitors is going anywhere fast and on paper it's a huge mismatch. For anyone looking to play the UFC 117 probabilities it's a significant no-brainer.
Dos Anjos will win this UFC 117 gambling matchup. He will not only secure this UFC 117 gambling fight but he'll dominate. On paper this thing isn't even close and it makes you wonder how desperate the UFC organizers and Dana White are if that is what they are serving up for Main Event event nowadays.
Guida is a long way from his best and even in his UFC gambling prime he wasn't all that great. With a career MMA gambling record of 37-11 this guy has been little more than a pro punching bag for the reputable contenders in the lightweight UFC gambling division. He's just 5-5 over his last 10 UFC gambling fights, with only 2 of the matches being at the UFC Main Event level. He is 28 years of age and already on his way out of his MMA gambling career. Nor has he ever beaten anyone of consequence and that will not change following the UFC 117 probabilities competition.
Dos Anjos is scarcely a world beater either, but with a record of 14-4 vs more hard competition he is a considerably better competitor than Guida and should win this UFC 117 odds bout handily.
