UFC 115: Liddell vs Franklin is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 12,2010 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This is the fourth UFC event to be held in Canada.Both Liddell and Franklin are legends of the UFC, but both are at a pivotal moment in their carrier with Liddell returning to action after a series of losses which left people questioning whether he should retire while same goes to Franklin who also makes a comeback after a layoff following a TKO loss to Vitor Belfort. Both are confident of beating each other, when asked Franklin said he can put him(Liddell) away decisively while Liddell counter attacked by stating that he will finish him off without a doubt. Even though Liddell cant be taken lightly, but he is giving up five years to Franklin and he also lost four of his last five fights. In the heavy weight bout Mirko Filipovic and Patrick Barry face of with each other while in the welter weight championship Paulo Thiago is set to take on Martin Kampmann. The tickets for this years event sold out within 30 minutes going on sale breaking the previous record set by UFC 83.
